#DrinkNY: The Audubon Cocktail

#NYSOM Happy Hour: We believe in celebrating, and have a tradition of ending each work week with a New York State-inspired cocktail. Here's our guide to mixing and sipping The Audubon Cocktail.

“The Audubon Cocktail”

In 1863, the New-York Historical Society purchased all 435 of the Audubon Society’s preparatory watercolors, plus 34 other works. Today, the N-YHS has the largest holdings of Audubon-related material in the world. Inspired by Dutch’s Spirits’ Peach Brandy (from the town of Pine Plains) and Tuthilltown Spirits’ Manhattan Rye Whiskey (from Gardiner), the Audubon Cocktail captures not only the best spirits of the Hudson Valley, but also emulates scenes from the area’s past. We recommend sipping this cocktail right on the Hudson while watching the local flocks fly by.
