This placemat design is woven from a traditional 18th century stripe carpet pattern, found in the records of noted American weaver, Silas Burton. The napkins are a traditional cotton twill. The pairing makes a beautiful and lasting addition to any modern table -- from the everyday to the sublime. (Made in the 21st century, everything is machine washable, too!)

One set of 4 placemats and 4 napkins. 100% wool placemats in Blue/Black/Barley/Hazelnut/Dark Green/Clove/Mustard/Red fiber colors, and 100% cotton Nut Brown hued napkins, both fibers are spun in the U.S. and woven at Thistle Hill Weavers. Placemats measure 20" x 14;" Napkins generously measure 20" x 20." Fringed border.
Placemat Care Instructions: Machine wash in cold water; machine dry on "Delicate."
Placemat Product Note: Placemat may experience slight shrinkage and also become softer after machine washing; to help maintain size and texture, wipe with wet cloth in between machine washes.
Napkin Care Instructions: Machine wash in warm water; machine dry on "Low;" iron as needed.
