The fabric used to make this tote is an African Indigo Mud Cloth from West Africa in the town of Burkina Faso and is made of strips of narrow loom cotton that is hand stitched together and then dyed in indigo. It has incredible varying shades of indigo throughout and is in amazing condition. The bottom of the bag is made from authentic deerskin. It is so soft and has a beautiful tanned color. The bag is fully lined with a navy cotton canvas cloth. There is an interior pocket with a zipper closure made from a vintage Indigo Mud Cloth print from Mali, West Africa.

The shoulder straps are made from a heavy 8 oz. natural vegetable tanned leather. The leather continues to patina and darken to get even better with age.
Bag Measures 18" wide X 17" tall and 5 1/2" deep. Shoulder straps have an 8 1/2" drop.
