About Erin Hall Studio
Erin Hall Studio in Westport, NY
New York maker of Dish Cloth Sponge and Matching Tea Towel, Handprinted Apron and Matching Tea Towel Gift Bundle. Founder: Erin Hall.
Erin Hall is an innovative artist and designer. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, Erin traveled the globe representing numerous textile mills, researching trends, and creating a wide array of bestselling textiles for the residential market.
Along the way, Erin discovered the beautiful shores of Lake Champlain in Upstate New York and was hooked. She tucked away her passport, settled across the lake from Burlington, Vermont, and established an art studio in Westport, New York.
It's in this studio that Erin creates all of her designs, develops her own screens and hand-prints all her creations, ranging from tea towels to sanctuary wall hangings and commissioned projects large and small.
Today, Erin finds herself shifting roles between creating original silkscreen wall hangings, tea towels and home goods and collaborating on interiors designed by the firm she and her husband run, Hall Design Group.
Erin is happiest when she gets to silkscreen to her heart's content and when her kids wake her up with coffee in bed (and if they spill, there's usually a tea towel ready).
The New York Makers Marketplace offers a curated selection of unique, mindfully-designed — often handmade or hand-crafted — gifts created by nearly 100 creative makers located across New York state, including the Hudson Valley, Catskills and Adirondacks.
