About Biggie's Crack Toffee

Stephanie Golden started making toffee as a treat for herself and her friends. She would take the usual ingredients but then began playing with the recipe and the toppings; always preferring premium dark chocolate and a little savory sea salt sprinkled on top to cut the sweetness. The most fun Stephanie has had is experimenting with different flavors and combinations. The possibilities are endless.  Most of what you see offered is a result of pure serendipity! For example, the Toasted Almond Toffee came about when Stephanie asked a friend to pick up almonds and he bought raw ones instead of roasted. Instead of returning them to the store he suggested she just toast them herself and she found they were so much better than what she had been making. Several of Biggie's Crack Toffees other flavors were suggestions from people who had a hankering for something and asked her to make it for them.    

The biggest revelation came when Stephanie discovered she preferred eating the toffee at the edges of the pan that were thin and crunchy. One of her gripes with regular toffee has always been that it is too thick and hard and she knows she's not alone. When you eat Biggie's Crack Toffee you bite into thin, cracky, crunchy, yummy and buttery toffee, unlike any other on the market.  

After making the toffee for friends came the inevitable “This is great! You should sell it!”  Having started many business ventures, Stephanie knew this was more easily said than done. But with a lot of hard work and dedication and an enormous amount of help, Biggie's Crack Toffee was launched and they are now sharing their delicious thin toffee with everyone!    

Biggie’s was chosen to be one of Oprah’s Favorite Things and was featured on The View where they exclaimed, “We’ve tried a zillion toffees and this is the best!”
