So perfect for entertaining, these handmade coasters and cheese board are made of slate salvaged from the rooftop of a 1900's Tudor house located in South Queens. Perfect for entertaining, and complete with soapstone chalk for identifying your fromage and charcuterie, this set that will continue to withstand the test of time.
Set of one cheese board (12" x 5" x 1.4") and 4 coasters (4.25"sq. x 0.25"), all hand-cut black/dark grey slate, reclaimed in Queens. Sealed with a non-VOC matte water-based sealant. 100%-recycled plastic bottle Eco-fi felt polyester backing. Wrapped in a handmade, reusable cotton pouch. Includes soapstone chalk. To clean: Wipe the slate with a lint-free, damp cloth. For heavy soiling: Scrub with liquid soap; dry with a lint-free cloth. Do not wet the backing. To maintain the slate: Rub a small amount of olive oil onto the surface, let sit one hour, wipe off excess with a lint-free cloth. (Care instructions included.)
